Charles DeRamus
Charles DeRamus, is a member of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in Sweden and a frequent guest collaborator with numerous ensembles in both Scandinavia and the United States.
His studies include degrees from Indiana University and Rice University and he has participated in prestigious summer festivals such as Tanglewood, Schleswig-Holstein, and the Pacific Music Festival in Japan.
Charles DeRamusis a faculty member at the Idyllwild Arts Summer Festival and Sequoia Chamber Music Workshop. He regularly gives guest master classes in England, Norway, Sweden, and the United States.
His composition “Greta’s Dream”, a children’s concert for Double Bass Quartet and Narrator, has been performed by orchestras around the world.
